About the program

A traditional Chinese medical massage meaning "pull and push", which is an accurate description of its dynamic nature. Tui-Na began as a method of dealing with disease through contact therapy, and as maintaining the health of the body. The Yellow Emperor's book of internal medicine, which serves as the main book in traditional Chinese medicine, mentions the main and basic techniques for contact therapy.
With the development of conventional medicine in China Tui-Na has been integrated with the anatomical and physiological and pathological knowledge to improve treatment, especially in orthopedic problems.
Tui-Na is now considered the main method of Massage therapy in hospitals in China, and is therefore referred to around the world as "Chinese physiotherapy". The Tui-Na provides a therapeutic solution to orthopedic problems, internal diseases, mental problems, pediatric diseases and gynecological problems.
Students at  The college of Integrative Medicine in Al-Ahliyya Amman University - Training and Consulting Department will also learn: gua-sha and moxibustion. Students will also acquire knowledge in the Qi Gong method (energetic exercises to improve the physical and energetic state of the therapist and patient).
Tui Na, which is one of the most chemical-free natural remedies in the Chinese medicine, has been practiced in China for thousands of years. Tui Na is based on the idea of the balance between the yin and the yang.

It helps in improving blood circulation and eliminating pains.
Tui Na plays an important role in treating problems of the bone and muscle system, and it focuses on relieving pain caused by inflammation and tension among patients who find it difficult to sleep.
Tui Na has an important role in treating many internal diseases, gynecological problems and children’s diseases. It is considered as an essential treatment method in Chinese hospitals and has entered all of the world health institutions.
